At Columbus Catholic High School, we believe that each student is born into God’s kingdom with innate gifts and talents. We strive to prepare our students for success in post-secondary success by teaching every student the values of faith, knowledge, discipline, and service.

The Chris and Megan Fereday College and Career Readiness Program includes two dedicated staff members who solely focus on concurrent coursework and college preparation. These staff members meet with families to support them in the college selection process, concurrent registration, Post-secondary Enrollment Options, scholarship application, and more. In addition, CHS students are encouraged to take the National Merit Scholar Qualifier Test (NMSQT) and Preliminary SAT (PSAT).
Engagement in the Sacraments:
Everything begins with Christ at Columbus Catholic. We begin and end every day with prayer. Students celebrate the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist at Mass weekly. Students take one theology course per semester. Each year students participate in a renewal, spending a full day reflecting upon and strengthening their relationship with Christ. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Reconciliation, Music Ministry, Senior Faith Leadership Team, service projects, and more.
Well-being:
Columbus Catholic has a full-time school counselor dedicated to students' social-emotional well-being. Our counseling program has the unique opportunity to discuss the Gospel, while guiding students through adversity. In addition, Columbus Catholic takes a proactive approach, working to remove mental health stigma. Our school includes a full-time mental health coach who works directly with students and parents. The CHS Mental Health Club allows students to lead by example, giving students a voice to the importance of mental health and well-being.
