At CVCS the mission of our campus ministry program is to work closely with students, parents, and staff to form our students in the image of Christ. Through our work, we strive to build a community of faith, love, respect, and unity.
Our faith community is built upon prayer, service, and spiritual activity. We encourage our students to pursue leadership opportunities through Campus Ministry and to celebrate the rich, diverse history of the Catholic Church.
We maintain a strong connection with the Catholic parishes of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, ensuring our students' faith grows within our community and their home parish.

The Columbus Catholic High School Campus Ministry program strives to help all students develop their faith and to grow as disciples of Christ. In order to do so, Campus Ministry provides a wide range of opportunities for personal, communal, and spiritual growth. These opportunities include renewal days, retreats, KAIROS, Monday Morning Prayer, Mass, spiritual direction, monthly service projects, and Senior Leadership Team.
The hope is that students will gain a better understanding of their own faith and what it means to them, that they will develop a stronger and more personal relationship with God, and that they will gain insight into their own Vocation in life as a follower of Jesus. Ultimately, students will then put this into practice by reflecting on the gifts they have been given by God, and using those gifts to go out into their communities to be the light of Christ for others.
We maintain a strong connection with the Catholic parishes of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, ensuring that our students' faith grows within our community and their home parish.
