In September 2019, Cedar Valley Catholic Schools partnered with Catholic School Management (CSM) to assist in the strategic planning process. A Strategic Planning Committee was formed. With support from the consultants at CSM and the Archdiocese of Dubuque, the planning committee conducted an in-depth evaluation of Cedar Valley Catholic Schools in areas of Mission & Catholic Identity, Governance & Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality. In April 2021, the planning committee, with support from CSM, drafted goals and objectives for a strategic plan. The plan was presented to the Cedar Valley Catholic Schools Board in June 2021. The plan was given approval and support from all board members and the CVCS Administrative leaders.
